LEDTEEN Releases "Full Color" Series Full Spectrum COB

In the field of LED lighting, full spectrum is one of the most concerned areas in the past two years. In the Guangya Exhibition in 2019, according to statistics, more than 13 companies launched full-spectrum products.

Full spectrum, as the name suggests, the spectrum is "full". Most traditional white LEDs are white light obtained by exciting phosphors with a single wavelength of blue light. The indigo part of the spectrum is relatively lacking, and the red and yellow parts are also easily lacking. This leads to a certain lack of display effect of LED light sources compared with sunlight, halogen lamps, and incandescent lamps, especially in the display of saturated colors.

It is a pity that "Full Spectrum" is in an embarrassing position of being popular but not popular. On the one hand, it is the high price; on the other hand, it is the performance of most of the "full spectrum" in the market observed by the naked eye, and the advantages are not so great that consumers have the urge to buy.

Whether it is "full spectrum" or ordinary LED, in commercial lighting, especially clothing chain store lighting, if you don't try to solve the following problems, you can't really impress customers:

(1) The traditionally used 80 display index 3000K has been proved to be insufficient for the presentation of the color of the object to be illuminated, and most of the industry has turned to 90 display index. And 90 display means 3000K has brought some problems, the surface of the illuminated object is yellowish and old.

(2) The currently widely used 3-step color tolerance shipment is far from enough in the commercial lighting market that has strict requirements on color differences.

(3) With the fierce competition in the industry, the control of the cost of the light source has become an important part. It is difficult to apply it on a large scale without trying to reduce the cost of the full spectrum.

In addition, we can see that Rg is only slightly greater than 100, and there is no problem of color distortion caused by over-saturation of many special color points COB, which makes the illumination effect more realistic.

Secondly, in view of the problem that the high color rendering LED light source tends to make the illuminated object appear yellowish and old, we select the color point at an excellent position after years of experience and verification, so that the light color is far away from the yellowish and greenish area, and through the perfect combination of phosphor and chip wavelength, our full-color display has a perfect effect on white, making the illuminated object more white, clean and pure.

Thirdly, thanks to Silicon Energy's strict process control, it has achieved a balance between color tolerance control and cost, and can carry out two-step color tolerance shipments for the "full-color" series of full-spectrum COBs. This alone reduces the control face value by 55%, but solves the color difference problem of most commercial photos and solves a major problem for customers.
